Nigerian midfielder Muhammed Usman has officially left Israeli side Ironi Tiberias, bringing his spell with the club to an end after just one season.

The club confirmed the midfielder’s departure on Tuesday, although his next destination remains uncertain as he weighs up his options ahead of the new campaign.

Usman joined Ironi Tiberias on a free transfer before the start of the 2025/26 season and went on to establish himself as a regular in the squad. During his time at the club, the 32-year-old featured in 25 matches across all competitions and scored one goal.

With his exit now confirmed, the experienced midfielder is expected to decide on his next move in the coming weeks. His departure makes him one of the latest free agents on the market as clubs continue to strengthen their squads ahead of the new season.

At international level, the former Nigeria U23 midfielder has also earned recognition with the senior national team. He received a call-up to Nigeria’s squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, adding another milestone to his career despite not featuring during the competition.

Although Usman did not make an appearance at the tournament, he was part of the Super Eagles squad that secured a third-place finish.

As he prepares for the next chapter of his career, attention will now turn to where the experienced midfielder will continue his professional journey.
