Newly promoted Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Ranchers Bees have completed the signing of centre-back Ibrahim Inuwa following the expiration of his contract with Kano Pillars FC, Boldsports report.

‎The 20-year-old defender arrives with top-flight experience after making 10 NPFL appearances during the 2025/26 season for Kano Pillars. Although he did not score, Inuwa provided defensive depth throughout the campaign and now strengthens a Ranchers Bees squad preparing for life back in Nigeria’s top division.

‎Born on 10 January 2006, Inuwa started his professional journey with Doma United before securing a move to Kano Pillars in 2023. After reaching the end of his contract, he opted for a fresh challenge by joining Ranchers Bees ahead of the 2026/27 season.

‎The move gives the Kaduna-based club another young defender as they continue building a squad capable of competing in the NPFL following their successful promotion.

‎Ranchers Bees have remained active in the transfer market since sealing promotion to the NPFL. The club recently announced the signing of Mustapha Jibrin, with Ibrahim Inuwa becoming the latest addition to strengthen the team before the new campaign.

‎The club’s recruitment strategy reflects its ambition to assemble a competitive squad with a blend of youth and league experience as preparations continue for the upcoming season.

‎Inuwa adds defensive versatility and valuable NPFL experience despite his young age. Having already represented Doma United and Kano Pillars, he understands the demands of Nigerian top-flight football and will look to establish himself as a regular starter at Ranchers Bees.

‎The defender now has the opportunity to play a key role as the newly promoted side aims to secure its place in the NPFL during the 2026/27 season.
