Emmanuel Egeoluoha has completed a move to Serbian outfit OFK Beograd from Red Star U-19, opening a new chapter in the rapidly rising career of the 18-year-old Nigerian forward.
The club confirmed the signing in a statement released on their official website on Monday, hailing the versatile attacker as a player capable of adding real firepower to their frontline ahead of the coming campaign.
“Emanuel Egeoluoha (18) strengthens OFK Belgrade’s attack. This young Nigerian footballer plays as a central striker but is also excellent in wing roles,” the club said.
Egeoluoha’s European journey began earlier this year when he left Forster Football Academy in Owerri to join Red Star’s U-19 side. His time in Belgrade was brief but productive, with strong performances at youth level catching the eye and ultimately paving the way for a switch.

For OFK Beograd, the signing continues a steady upward trajectory. The club earned promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga in 2024 after winning the Serbian First League, and have since posted respectable finishes, fourth and sixth in the two seasons that followed.
While OFK’s recent history reflects a club rebuilding momentum, their pedigree runs far deeper. They have lifted the Yugoslav First League title five times and the Yugoslav Cup five times, and reached the semifinals of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1962/63 as well as the quarterfinals of the UEFA Cup in 1972/73, a reminder of the club’s storied European past.
For Egeoluoha, the move represents a fresh opportunity to build on his early promise and continue his development in one of Europe’s competitive top-flight environments, with OFK Beograd hoping his arrival can add both goals and versatility to their attack this season.
