Wilfred Ndidi could be on the move again after Besiktas reportedly decided to listen to offers for the Super Eagles captain during the summer transfer window, Boldsports report.

‎The Turkish club signed the experienced Nigerian midfielder from Leicester City for €8 million last summer. However, the move has not produced the expected results. Besiktas finished fourth in the Turkish Süper Lig, missing out on a top-three finish and prompting changes behind the scenes.

‎Ndidi featured regularly throughout the campaign and remained one of Besiktas’ most experienced players. The Nigerian international also continued to captain the Super Eagles and brought valuable leadership to both club and country. Despite that experience, he has struggled to secure a place in the plans of new head coach Vincenzo Italiano, who recently replaced Sergen Yalçın.

‎Reports from Turkish outlet Orta Saha claim Besiktas have now fixed an asking price of €8 million for Ndidi. That figure matches the amount they paid Leicester City to secure his services just a year ago.

‎The valuation is considered reasonable given Ndidi’s quality, international pedigree, and the fact that he still has two years remaining on his contract. Several clubs are expected to monitor the situation closely before making a formal approach.

‎Ndidi has attracted interest from clubs in the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and the Premier League. Earlier this year, he was also linked with Manchester United, underlining his reputation as one of Africa’s most respected defensive midfielders.

Although no destination has been confirmed, the experienced midfielder is expected to weigh every option carefully. Financial security will likely play a role in his decision as he enters the latter stage of his career.

‎Regular first-team football will remain a major priority for Ndidi. As captain of the Super Eagles, consistent playing time is essential to maintaining his sharpness ahead of Nigeria’s upcoming international fixtures.

‎A swift decision on his future would also allow him to settle quickly at a new club and complete a full pre-season before the new campaign begins.
