Coventry City have confirmed the permanent signing of Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka from Brentford for an undisclosed fee, Bold Sports reports.
The Sky Blues announced the deal on Monday through their official website and social media platforms, with the transfer set to come into effect from Wednesday, July 1.
Onyeka initially joined Coventry on loan in January and quickly established himself as a key figure in Frank Lampard’s side. The Nigeria international played an instrumental role as the Sky Blues clinched the Sky Bet Championship title and secured a return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years.

The 28-year-old made 14 appearances during his loan spell, scoring a stunning goal in a crucial victory over Derby County in April as Coventry’s promotion push gathered momentum.
Having featured in 75 Premier League matches during his time at Brentford, Onyeka arrives with valuable top-flight experience as Coventry prepare for life back among England’s elite.
Speaking after completing his permanent move to the Coventry Building Society Arena, Onyeka expressed his delight at returning to the club.
“I’m really excited for the new season with Coventry,” he said.

“When I first joined last season, I came here with two goals and that was to win the Championship and help Coventry get promoted to the Premier League.
“I’m really happy to now be a Coventry player back in the Premier League.
“I will give everything to the team, fight for every ball, fight for my teammates and bring my experience.
“My ambition now is to help the Club stay in the Premier League and finish as high as we can.”
Coventry will hope Onyeka’s experience and combative presence in midfield will prove vital as they aim to establish themselves in the Premier League after earning promotion as Championship winners.
