Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi is determined to remain at Olympique Marseille despite attracting interest from two Premier League clubs, Boldsports report.

‎The 22-year-old joined the French side from Belgian club Zulte Waregem during the January transfer window. Although he struggled for regular minutes after arriving, he ended the 2025/26 campaign on a high by starting Marseille’s final four Ligue 1 matches. His strong finish strengthened his case for a bigger role next season and highlighted his long-term potential at the club.

‎Interest in the Nigerian midfielder has grown ahead of the summer transfer window. However, according to Le10Sport, Nnadi has no intention of leaving Marseille and wants to establish himself at the Ligue 1 club.

‎The midfielder, who has earned five senior caps for Nigeria, believes he still has more to offer after adapting to life in French football following his winter arrival.

‎Speaking during a press conference in May, Nnadi made his intentions clear.

‎”I feel good, I’m playing so that’s the most important thing. My future? I’m happy to be here, I’m grateful for every opportunity I can have. As a player, I think it’s really nice to play at the Vélodrome, I want to do it as much as possible.”

‎He added:

‎”I don’t know my future but I want to stay and prove that I deserve to be here. I arrived at the most difficult moment. I needed time to adapt. I seized the opportunity when it presented itself to me.”

Despite the player’s desire to stay, Marseille face financial constraints this summer. The French club must carefully manage its wage bill and player trading following financial oversight from French football authorities.

‎That situation means the club could consider offers for several players if suitable bids arrive, even though Nnadi remains under contract until 2030.

‎Still, Marseille may view the Nigerian as an important investment for the future after his encouraging performances at the end of last season. His development during the closing weeks of the campaign demonstrated that he can compete for a regular place in the squad.

‎For now, Nnadi’s position remains unchanged. The Super Eagles midfielder wants to continue his journey in Marseille rather than pursue a move to England, despite reported Premier League interest.
