Kelechi Iheanacho scored for the fourth consecutive game and provided an assist as Bursaspor came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Kayserispor in their league clash on Saturday.
The Nigerian striker took his tally for the season to four goals and two assists, having found the net in each of his first three games for Bursaspor, helping the club record two wins during that run.
Kayserispor took the lead in the 31st minute when Florent Hasani converted from the penalty spot, giving the hosts a 1-0 advantage at the half-time break. However, Bursaspor produced a strong second-half comeback, with Iheanacho playing a key role in turning the game around.
The 29-year-old equalised for Bursaspor in the 58th minute, calmly converting from the spot after the visitors were awarded a penalty. Iheanacho then turned provider in the 77th minute, setting up Alperen Babacan, who scored the winning goal to complete the comeback and secure all three points for Bursaspor.

The result sees Bursaspor move up to third place in the Turkish Trendyol 1. Lig with nine points from four games, level on points with Kayserispor, who sit second.
Bursaspor will look to maintain their strong start to the season when they take on İstanbulspor next Thursday, while Kayserispor will aim to return to winning ways against Karagümrük on Wednesday.
For Iheanacho, his impressive run of form could put him in contention for a return to the Super Eagles squad. The 29-year-old last featured for Nigeria during the 2025 Unity Cup, but his current form could make it increasingly difficult for head coach Eric Chelle to overlook him in future call-ups.
