Samuel Chukwueze has emerged as one of Trabzonspor’s leading transfer targets after the Turkish club reportedly submitted a €15 million offer to AC Milan for the Super Eagles winger ahead of the 2026/27 season, Boldsports reports.

‎The Turkish Cup holders have already strengthened their squad with eight new arrivals this summer. They are now focusing on adding more quality on the right wing, with Chukwueze viewed as a player capable of boosting their attacking options. Reports also indicate that Trabzonspor are exploring a transfer structure that could include an obligation to buy under certain conditions.

‎The 27-year-old spent last season on loan at Fulham, where he scored three goals and provided four assists in 23 Premier League appearances. His pace, direct dribbling and creativity in one-on-one situations continued to make him an attractive option despite an inconsistent spell in England. Chukwueze remains under contract with AC Milan until 2028.

‎Trabzonspor believe the Nigerian international can take their attack to another level as they prepare for a demanding campaign across four competitions. His ability to operate from the right flank, cut inside with his stronger left foot and create chances has made him a priority target.

‎The winger is widely recognised for his explosive acceleration and ability to beat defenders in isolated situations. He also creates space for teammates by drawing defenders out of position and regularly produces dangerous final passes after quick changes of direction. His style has often drawn comparisons with Arjen Robben because of his direct running and left-footed attacking threat.

‎Chukwueze established himself at Villarreal, where he played a key role in the club’s UEFA Europa League triumph. The Spanish side signed him from Nigeria in 2017 for €500,000 before completing a profitable sale to AC Milan in 2023 for €21.1 million.

‎Trabzonspor hope to convince Milan to sanction another move this summer as they continue reshaping their squad. The club already has several Nigerians in its ranks, including Paul Onuachu, Chibuike Nwaiwu and Anthony Nwakaeme, while Rafiu Durosinmi has also been linked with a transfer.

‎No agreement has been reached between the clubs, and Milan have yet to respond publicly to the reported offer. Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days as Trabzonspor attempt to secure one of their biggest signings of the transfer window.

‎Trabzonspor remain hopeful of completing the transfer, but negotiations with AC Milan continue as both clubs work toward a possible agreement.
