The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Final Draw is set to take place on Monday, January 27, at the Mohammed V National Theatre in Rabat, with a star-studded lineup of assistants, including Super Eagles legend Joseph Yobo.
Yobo will be joined by fellow African football veterans Mustapha Hadji, Serge Aurier, and Aliou Cisse, who will help conduct the draw and offer expert analysis on the groups for the upcoming tournament.
The 24 qualified teams for the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2025 will discover their path to the trophy during the Final Draw, which kicks off at 19h00 local time (18h00 GMT | 20h00 Cairo).
The assistants will not only draw the balls from the pots but also provide valuable insights into the groups, sharing their expertise and experience with the audience.
Joseph Yobo, a renowned Nigerian football legend, had a distinguished 13-year career with the Super Eagles, earning 101 caps and leading the team to the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON title in 2013.
Yobo’s impressive club career spanned several countries, including England, Belgium, France, Spain, and Turkey, with notable stints at Everton, where he became a fan favorite.
A veteran of six continental finals tournaments and three FIFA World Cups, Yobo played 10 FIFA World Cup matches in 2002, 2010, and 2014.
