Salford City have strengthened their squad with the signing of Nigerian-eligible winger Abraham Odoh from Peterborough United on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee, subject to EFL and FA ratification, Boldsports report.
The 25-year-old arrives at Moor Lane after spending two seasons with Peterborough, where he played an important role in the club’s successful 2025 EFL Trophy campaign. His move also makes him Salford City’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
Odoh heads to Salford after producing consistent attacking numbers at Peterborough. During his two-year spell, he scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 69 appearances across all competitions. He also started every match of Peterborough’s EFL Trophy-winning run, contributing four goals and two assists in that competition.
Before joining Peterborough, the winger enjoyed an outstanding campaign at Harrogate Town, registering nine league goals and four assists in 42 appearances. His performances there earned him a return to League One.
Speaking after completing the transfer, Odoh expressed his excitement about the next stage of his career.
”I feel happy to have signed for the club and that it is over the line. I just cannot wait to get started now and meet the boys.
”I think the ambition and the plan that has been set up for this club made me come here. Speaking to the Manager, and the way he wants to play, his style of play will suit me and that was something that I wanted to be a part of.”

The winger also outlined the style of football supporters can expect from him.
”I like to get fans off their seats. I am someone that enjoys the game, and I just enjoy football and having fun with the ball. That is what I am about.
”I want to give the fans a show and to entertain. I want them to enjoy the football, so I cannot wait to show them what I can do.”
Odoh began his development in Millwall’s academy before featuring for Edgware Town, Tooting & Mitcham United and Charlton Athletic. He later established himself with Rochdale before enjoying productive spells at Harrogate Town and Peterborough United.
Although born in London, Odoh is of Nigerian descent, making him eligible to represent Nigeria internationally under FIFA nationality rules if he meets the nationality requirements.
Salford have recruited a winger known for direct running, creativity and attacking output. His record of producing double-digit goal contributions in multiple recent seasons suggests he can add pace and quality in the final third as the club prepares for the new League Two campaign.
