Other clubs have entered the race to sign Super Eagles midfielder Chrisantus Uche after his proposed move to Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers hit a stumbling block, Bold Sports reports.
According to Diario AS journalist Eduardo Burgos, Uche’s representatives are currently blocking the transfer due to sporting and financial concerns, leaving the deal in limbo. Transfer expert Matteo Moretto also reports that negotiations with Wolves have broken down, opening the door for other suitors.
Ac Milan, Leeds United, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest, and Como are among the clubs monitoring the situation closely, with more potential bidders expected to emerge before the window shuts.

While Nice are looking to sign Uche to improve their attack, Crystal Palace are interested due to the departure of Eberechi Eze who joined Arsenal. AC Milan have Uche on their list in case their move for Chelsea attacker Christopher Nkunku fails to materialise while Forest and Leeds remain keen on the Nigerian.
Meanwhile, Wolves have turned their attention to another Super Eagles player Tolu Arokodare, having agreed personal terms with the KRC Genk striker on a five-year deal. Talks between the two clubs are ongoing as Wolves push to finalise a transfer fee before the transfer deadline.
For now, however, Uche will remain at Getafe — a significant boost for head coach José Bordalás, who previously admitted it would be “a huge problem” to lose his star player, especially with the transfer window on the verge of closing.
On the other hand, with the transfer window deadline only few days away, Wolves are under pressure to wrap up their attacking reinforcements, whether that involves reviving the Uche deal or pushing through a move for Arokodare.
