Highly-rated Nigerian forward Angelo Agbejoye marked his Djurgården debut in style, finding the net as the Swedish club cruised to a 7-1 victory over IFK Haninge on Thursday to book their place in the next round of the Swedish Cup.
The 18-year-old recently completed his move to Djurgården from Nigerian club Grassrunners FC and wasted little time making an impression, coming off the bench to score late in the emphatic victory.
Haninge made a flying start and stunned the visitors by taking the lead just two minutes into the game through Pa Amat Dibba.
Djurgården, however, responded strongly and turned the game around before halftime. Max Larsson restored parity in the 29th minute before Alexander Johansson completed the comeback by putting the visitors 2-1 ahead in the 45th minute.

The Swedish side then produced a ruthless attacking display in the final stages, scoring four more goals in an 11-minute spell.
Alexander Andersson extended Djurgården’s advantage in the 76th minute, before Christos Almyras made it 4-1 three minutes later.
Agbejoye was involved in Djurgården’s fifth goal, with his brilliant left-footed effort saved by the Haninge goalkeeper before the rebound fell kindly to Andersson, who tapped home to complete his brace in the 85th minute.
Two minutes later, Charlie Rosenqvist added another to make it 6-1, further underlining Djurgården’s dominance.
Haninge’s difficult evening took another turn for the worse in the 88th minute when Dusan Jajic was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Agbejoye then capped his memorable debut in stoppage time, calmly converting a first-time finish to complete the 7-1 rout and register his first goal for his new club.

The emphatic victory extended Djurgården’s winning streak to five matches and secured their progression in the Swedish Cup.
Djurgården will now turn their attention back to league action when they host GAIS on Monday, September 14, hoping to maintain their impressive run of form.
