The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has secured a new three-year title sponsorship deal with EuroMatch. The agreement is worth $7.5 million and was unveiled in Abuja on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Bold Sports reports.
The deal comes as the NPFL prepares for its 2026/27 campaign. The new season opens with Shooting Stars facing Inter Lagos on Friday at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
Under the agreement, EuroMatch will become the official title sponsor of Nigeria’s top-flight league.
The competition will also carry the EuroMatch NPFL name for commercial purposes. The deal covers the next three seasons.
The sponsorship is valued at $2.5 million per season. That brings the total package to $7.5 million.
A major part of the agreement will benefit participating clubs. Reports confirm that 60 percent of the sponsorship funds will go directly to the clubs. The money should help improve player wages and welfare.
The development gives the league a significant commercial boost. It also comes after years of efforts to improve the NPFL’s financial structure and visibility.
Euromatch Group is a Warsaw-based private investment company focused on technology ventures within the global gaming industry. Its portfolio includes Euromatch, its flagship B2C sportsbook brand.
The group also operates GB2B, its B2B technology division, which provides gaming platform technology and managed software services for licensed operators. Euromatch Group currently holds four gaming licences and is expanding across international regulated markets.
The partnership therefore gives the NPFL a commercial connection with an international gaming and technology group. The league will hope the deal can support its wider growth and commercial ambitions.
The sponsorship arrives at an important point for Nigerian football.
The NPFL continues to pursue stronger commercial structures. It also wants better visibility and improved conditions for clubs and players.
The league will now enter the 2026/27 season under the EuroMatch NPFL identity. Shooting Stars and Inter Lagos will provide the opening fixture on Friday.
