Nigeria’s Super Falcons will play all their Group C matches of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Rabat, returning to the city where they lifted a record-extending 10th continental title last year.
The defending champions will kick off their campaign against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium on July 28. The same venue will host their second group fixture against Zambia on August 1 before they conclude the group stage against Egypt at the Olympic Stadium on August 5.
Should the Super Falcons finish top of Group C, they will remain in Rabat for their quarter-final clash on August 9 against the runners-up from Group D.

Nigeria will be looking to make a strong start as they bid to successfully defend the crown they won in Morocco after edging the hosts 3-2 in a dramatic final to secure their 10th African title.
This year’s tournament carries added significance as it also serves as a qualifying competition for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The four semi-finalists will earn automatic qualification, while two additional teams will progress to the intercontinental play-offs.
Speaking ahead of the tournament, Super Falcons head coach Justin Madugu stressed that securing a place at the World Cup remains the team’s primary objective before turning attention to retaining their continental crown.

“Our priority will first be to ensure that we make it to the World Cup. The second goal will be to defend the trophy and bring it back to Nigeria,” Madugu told CAFOnline.com.
“We know it won’t be easy because as champions everybody will now be looking at us. We are holding something precious that everybody wants, but we will remain resolute and focused and try as much as possible to achieve both objectives.”
