Kelechi Iheanacho scored the winner as Celtic secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday, keeping the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Super Eagles striker came off the bench in the second half and made an immediate impact, finding the net for the fourth time in five games.
Celtic made a positive start to the match, dominating possession and creating several chances. Their superiority got even stronger after Hibernian were reduced to ten men in the 21st minute. Midfielder Jamie McGrath received a straight red card for a dangerous challenge.
In the 43rd minute, the visitors broke the deadlock. Daizen Maeda tapped home from close range to make it 1-0. However, Hibernian leveled the scoreline few minutes later, with Joe Newell netting the equaliser.

The scores remained level until the 70th minute when Kelechi Iheanacho was introduced. The striker replaced Hyun-Jun Yang, and scored with a brilliant finish two minutes later, helping Celtic regain their lead.
The goal secured all three points for the visitors, extending their winning run to five games across multiple competitions. Celtic remain second on the table, but are now level on points with league leaders Hearts who have a game in hand.

With three matches left, Celtic will aim to continue their winning streak as they eye a fifth-straight league title. The Hoops face Rangers, Motherwell and Hearts in their final three games.
