Beşiktaş are exploring a possible swap deal involving midfielder Wilfred Ndidi and Altay Bayındır of Manchester United as part of their summer transfer planning.
The Istanbul side are prioritising a new first-choice goalkeeper, with Bayındır identified as a leading option after struggling for regular opportunities in England.
Reports suggest Manchester United could be open to including the Turkey international in a deal as they revisit long-standing interest in Ndidi.
Ndidi has been a regular presence for Beşiktaş this season, making 20 league appearances, all as a starter, and scoring two goals from midfield. His performances have also seen him accumulate over 1,600 minutes in the Süper Lig, underlining his importance in the side’s structure.

The 29-year-old, who joined Beşiktaş after a lengthy spell at Leicester City, has brought experience and defensive stability, while also contributing modestly in attack. His consistent involvement contrasts with Bayındır’s situation at Manchester United.
Bayındır has made six appearances in the Premier League this season, with limited opportunities across competitions as he remains largely a backup option. The 27-year-old goalkeeper has played a secondary role since arriving at Old Trafford, despite previous first-team experience during his time at Fenerbahçe.
For Beşiktaş, the proposed deal would address a key need in goal, while Manchester United would strengthen their midfield with a player they have monitored over a number of transfer windows.
No formal agreement has been reached, but discussions around the potential swap underline how both clubs are assessing options ahead of the summer window.
