Danny Jordaan, President of the South African Football Association (SAFA), has sent his best wishes to the Super Eagles ahead of their decisive clash against DR Congo in the final of the African World Cup Qualifying Play-off Tournament, scheduled for Sunday at the Complexe Sportif Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, Morocco.

“Nigeria was in our group, and it was a very tight and stressful battle to the end. I want to wish Nigeria all the best for their match against DR Congo,” Jordaan said in a video posted on SAFA’s X handle.

The Super Eagles will approach the final with a boost of confidence after midfielder and stand-in captain Wilfred Ndidi was cleared to play.

Earlier reports had ruled the Beşiktaş star out due to accumulated yellow cards during the World Cup qualifying series, but updated clarifications confirmed his eligibility for the crucial matchup.
