Ademola Lookman may find himself playing under a new manager at Atalanta after the international break, as the club’s management is reportedly on the verge of sacking Croatian coach Ivan Jurić.
La Dea have endured a dismal run of form in Serie A, failing to win any of their last seven league matches, a streak that culminated in an embarrassing 3-0 home defeat to Sassuolo on Sunday. The result appears to have been the final straw for the club’s hierarchy.
According to reputable football journalist and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Atalanta are set to appoint 41-year-old former Italian winger and ex-Fiorentina boss Raffaele Palladino as Jurić’s replacement.

“Plan confirmed: Atalanta are on the verge of sacking Ivan Jurić to appoint Palladino as new head coach,” Fabrizio posted on X.
Despite their domestic struggles, Atalanta have fared better in the Champions League, winning two of their last three matches and currently occupying a playoff spot after four games.
Jurić has also been in the headlines recently for the wrong reasons following a heated touchline altercation with star winger Ademola Lookman during their Champions League win over Olympique Marseille last Wednesday.
