Ayo Dosunmu officially announced himself to Minnesota Timberwolves fans with an impressive 21-point performance off the bench, helping his new team to a commanding 138–116 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night at the Target Center.

The Nigerian-American guard had a debut to forget on Sunday, managing just 11 points on 4-of-11 shooting in the Timberwolves’ 115–96 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, a game dominated by Kawhi Leonard’s 41-point masterclass.

Acquired from the Chicago Bulls on trade deadline day, February 5, Dosunmu was handed an immediate chance at redemption against the Hawks, and he made the most of it.
