The Showtyme Foundation is set to host the 2025 edition of its flagship event, Double Check Your Status & Ball, on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.
The annual initiative blends the excitement of basketball with health awareness, focusing this year on sickle cell education and the importance of knowing one’s genotype.
Activities will kick off at 9:00 a.m. and will feature thrilling basketball games, free health checks, and awareness campaigns designed to encourage young people to prioritize their health.
Since its inception, Double Check Your Status & Ball has positioned itself as more than just a sporting event, using the basketball court as a platform for learning, checking, and community connection.
