Greek giants Olympiacos have added D’Tigers and New York Knicks power forward Precious Achiuwa to their wishlist ahead of the 2026 season.

Achiuwa last featured for the Knicks, appearing in 57 games during the past NBA season, where he averaged 6.6 points and 5.6 rebounds. The Knicks reached the Eastern Conference Finals but were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers.

According to reports, Olympiacos are actively scouting top NBA talents to bolster their roster as they aim to dominate not only the Greek League but also the EuroLeague next season.

The 25-year-old was selected 20th overall in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat before being traded to the Toronto Raptors a season later and then to the Knicks.

A five-year NBA veteran, Achiuwa is also attracting interest from several NBA teams.

The D’Tigers star is highly regarded for his elite defensive abilities and versatility, capable of guarding multiple positions. Though his offensive output is modest, his defensive prowess makes him a valuable asset for teams looking to strengthen their defense.

Should he decide to move to Europe, Achiuwa would join a growing list of D’Tigers stars — including Jordan Nwora, Chima Moneke, and Ike Iroegbu — who have been making significant impacts across European basketball.
