World Record holder Tobi Amusan will return to the track on Tuesday, June 25, as she lines up for the women’s 100m hurdles at the Golden Spike meet in Ostrava, Czech Republic, Bold Sports reports.

The women’s 100mH World Record holder is coming off a sensational performance in Paris, where she clocked 12.24 seconds, her second-fastest time ever in the event. Amusan will now aim to go even faster as she continues her fine form ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan.

The 27-year-old is the standout name on the startlist in Ostrava, with her world record of 12.12s still untouched since she set it at the World Championships in Oregon in 2022.

Also on the startlist are Italy’s Elena Carraro (12.84s), Austria’s Karin Strametz (12.79s), and the Czech Republic’s Helena Jiranová, who has a personal best of 13.19s.

Amusan currently holds a season best of 12.24s, set just last week, and sits among the top-ranked sprint hurdlers in the world in 2024.

The women’s 100m hurdles at the Golden Spike Ostrava is scheduled to begin at 5:35 PM Nigerian time on Tuesday, June 25.
