Ogun State came out firing, dominating the early exchanges and electrifying the crowd with quick baskets. But Lagos, unfazed by the intensity, steadily clawed their way back into the game, gradually quieting the raucous atmosphere.

In the second half, Team Lagos turned up the intensity, taking control of the game and outscoring their opponents to seal a well-deserved win and the championship title.

It was the second basketball silver medal for Ogun State on the same day after their female team succumed to the firepower of Team Bayelsa earlier in the day.
