Nigerian striker Yira Sor continued his resurgence by finding the net in Genk’s 2–0 victory over Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday.
After a goalless first half and with the match drifting toward another stalemate, Genk manager Nicky Hayen rang the changes in the 64th minute, introducing Sor in place of Yaimar Medina. The substitution paid immediate dividends, as the Nigerian forward needed just four minutes to break the deadlock, putting the hosts ahead in the 68th minute.
Genk sealed the win late on when another substitute, Robin Mirisola, who came on in the 77th minute, doubled the advantage with a well-taken goal in the 84th minute to secure all three points.

It has been an encouraging run of form for Sor, who has rediscovered his scoring touch with three goals in his last five league appearances, having previously endured a 14-game goal drought at the start of the season.
Genk dominated proceedings, registering eight shots on target from 16 attempts, while Anderlecht managed just two shots on target from 10 efforts.
The win lifts Genk to eighth place on the league table temporarily, while Anderlecht remain fourth and are now winless in their last five league matches, suffering four defeats and one draw.
Sor will look to maintain his fine form when Genk face Mechelen next Friday.
