Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen has declared that his side will battle relentlessly when they face Juventus in the decisive second leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout play-off in Turin.
The Nigerian striker, who returned to full training on Monday after missing the 2–0 league defeat to Konyaspor due to a precautionary knee issue, was present at Tuesday’s pre-match press conference alongside head coach Okan Buruk. With Galatasaray holding a commanding 5–2 advantage from the first leg, Osimhen insists the job is far from finished.
“The match will be a real battle, almost like a war,” Osimhen said. “We will fight on the pitch until the very last drop of our sweat, and we will be the side that wants to win more. I hope that at the end of this long fight, we will be the ones celebrating.”
Despite the comfortable aggregate lead, the 27-year-old remains cautious about the threat posed by the Italian giants, whom he openly admires. Juventus’ pedigree in European competitions and their formidable home atmosphere in Turin are factors he believes cannot be overlooked.

Osimhen played a crucial role in the first leg, providing two assists to put the Turkish champions firmly in control of the tie. His movement, strength, and link-up play proved decisive as Galatasaray dismantled their opponents in Istanbul.
Now back in contention after his minor knee scare, the former Napoli striker is expected to spearhead the attack once again as Galatasaray aim to seal qualification for the next round of Europe’s elite competition.
With confidence high and momentum on their side, Osimhen’s fighting words set the tone for what promises to be an intense showdown in Turin.
