Rivers Hoopers head coach Ogoh Odaudu and assistant coach Abdulrahman Mohamed have been chosen to participate in the NBA Summer League from July 12 to 22 in Las Vegas. They are among 25 African coaches selected for this opportunity.
Odaudu and Mohamed led Rivers Hoopers to a historic campaign in the 2024 Basketball Africa League (BAL), becoming the first Nigerian team to reach the knockout stages and achieve a podium finish.
As part of their internship, Odaudu will work with the Cleveland Cavaliers and coach John-Blair J.B Bickerstaff, while Mohamed will join the Utah Jazz and coach Will Hardy.
“Our head coach @OOdaudu and his assistant at the @thebal Abdulrahman Mohamed are 2 of the 25 African coaches selected to participate in the NBA summer league from 12-22 July in Las Vegas.
