Paris Saint-Germain snatched a dramatic 2-1 victory over Barcelona at the Estadi Olímpic, with Gonçalo Ramos’ late strike proving decisive in a pulsating Champions League encounter on Wednesday night, Bold Sports reports.
Barcelona began on the front foot, controlling possession and dictating the tempo in trademark fashion. Their early dominance paid off in the 19th minute when Marcus Rashford teed up Ferrán Torres, who finished clinically to give the hosts the lead.
PSG nearly equalised minutes later, but Bradley Barcola’s heavy touch allowed Wojciech Szczęsny to smother the danger. Barcelona continued to threaten, with Rashford’s fierce shot blocked after a chaotic corner, while Szczęsny was called into action again to deny Achraf Hakimi’s free-kick.
The visitors found their breakthrough in the 38th minute thanks to a brilliant solo run from Nuno Mendes, who beat several defenders before setting up Senny Mayulu for a composed finish. Barcola wasted another chance before the interval, leaving the scoreline level at the break.

PSG carried their momentum into the second half, with Barcola testing Szczęsny early on. Barcelona pressed for a second goal but were denied by last-ditch defending from Illia Zabarnyi and Hakimi, while Mendes survived a scare after avoiding a second booking for a foul on Lamine Yamal.
As the game edged towards a stalemate, Kang-In Lee rattled the woodwork for PSG. Just when it seemed both sides would share the spoils, Ramos pounced in the dying minutes to fire home the winner, sparking wild celebrations among the visiting supporters.
The victory lifts PSG to six points from two matches, while Barcelona remain on three points. Luis Enrique’s men will next face Bayer Leverkusen, while the Catalans host Olympiacos in their bid to bounce back.
