Onyeka Okongwu once again delivered a standout performance, powering the Atlanta Hawks to a narrow 124–122 comeback win over the Phoenix Suns at the PHX Arena, extending their winning streak to five games.

The Hawks trailed by 13 points at the end of the third quarter and were down by 22 with just 10 minutes left on the clock. However, Okongwu and his teammates sparked a remarkable late surge, going on a 20-0 run, and outscoring the Suns 47–27 in the fourth quarter to overturn the deficit and seal a dramatic two-point victory.

Still without All-Star guard Trae Young and center Kristaps Porziņģis, Atlanta relied heavily on Okongwu’s impact on both ends of the floor. The 24-year-old finished with a team-high 27 points, five assists, four rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in 35 minutes.

For the Suns, Dillon Brooks recorded a game-high 34 points, Devin Booker added 27, while Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin chipped in 15 and 14 points, respectively. Ryan Dunn also contributed 12 points.

With the victory, the Hawks climb to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. They return home to face the Detroit Pistons at State Farm Arena.

Okongwu has been in good form in recent games. Three days ago, he dropped a career-high 32 points in the win against the Utah Jazz.
