Super Lig side Galatasaray have returned with an improved offer for Victor Osimhen after their initial €70 million bid was turned down earlier today, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Turkish champions have now tabled a fresh proposal worth €75 million, which includes €40 million in upfront payment and the remaining €35 million structured in installments. Bank guarantees remain a central element of the offer, aimed at assuring Napoli of financial security.
Napoli had earlier rejected Galatasaray’s €70 million offer, with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis standing firm on his demand for Osimhen’s full €75 million release clause to be guaranteed in full.

While Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal have also expressed interest in the Nigerian striker, Galatasaray are showing no signs of backing down. Their pursuit has been boosted by the fact that Osimhen has already agreed to personal terms, including a contract that would keep him in Istanbul until 2028.
The ball is now in Napoli’s court as they consider the new proposal. The Serie A club is expected to move quickly in finding a replacement, with Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez emerging as their top priority to fill the potential void left by Osimhen’s departure.
Galatasaray fans will be watching closely, hopeful that the latest offer will be accepted, bringing a potentially joyful conclusion to a prolonged transfer saga.
The Nigerian striker made a lasting impression during his loan stint, where he netted 37 goals and provided seven assists, playing a pivotal role in securing both the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup titles for the club.
