Bamidele Yusuf scored the decisive goal as Hungarian side Ferencváros secured a stunning 3-2 victory over RB Salzburg in their UEFA Europa League Matchday 3 encounter at the Red Bull Arena, Bold Sports reports.
Salzburg were aiming for their first win of the campaign and looked on course when Edmund Baidoo opened the scoring in the 13th minute. However, the visitors mounted a spirited second-half comeback, netting three times in quick succession (8 minutes) to turn the game on its head.
Barnabás Varga restored parity in the 50th minute, Kristoffer Zachariassen put Ferencváros ahead six minutes later, before Bamidele sealed the win with a well-taken strike in the 58th minute.
Yorbe Vertessen reduced the deficit for Salzburg in the 72nd minute, sparking hopes of a late rally, but the Ferencváros defence held firm to secure a memorable win on Austrian soil.

Bamidele’s goal was his first in two Europa League appearances this season, taking his season tally to eight goals in ten matches across all competitions. The 24-year-old winger was later substituted for Lenny Joseph in the 72nd minute.
The victory was the Hungarian side’s second in three Europa League games, keeping them among the top eight teams in the group stage standings.
