Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie has been crowned the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) for 2025, securing the prestigious honour for the third consecutive year.

The Super Falcons shot-stopper received the award on Wednesday, November 19, at the 2025 CAF Awards ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat, Morocco.

Nnadozie beat Morocco’s Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa’s Andile Dlamini to the award, reaffirming her dominance as Africa’s best between the sticks.

The 24-year-old enjoyed a remarkable year for both club and country. While at Paris FC, she helped the French side lift the Coupe de France Féminine, a historic milestone that strengthened her growing reputation on the European stage.

Her brilliance carried into international duty, where she was instrumental in the Super Falcons’ record-extending 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) triumph. Nnadozie kept four clean sheets during the tournament and was named the best goalkeeper, underlining her importance in Nigeria’s title-winning campaign.

Following her WAFCON heroics, the highly rated goalkeeper made a move to Women’s Super League side Brighton & Hove Albion. She made an immediate impact in England, earning the Player of the Match award on her debut. Her performances have since earned multiple nominations, including the October WSL Save of the Month and the PFA WSL Fans’ Player of the Month awards.

Nnadozie’s latest CAF honour adds yet another milestone to a glittering career that continues to rise, establishing her as one of the world’s most exciting talents in women’s football.
