Anthony Joshua will make his comeback to the ring against Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The world-renowned boxer’s last fight was a sixth-round knockout victory over Jake Paul on December 19, 2025, in Miami, Florida.

Later that month, Anthony Joshua suffered a huge personal loss as he was involved in a car accident in Nigeria which saw two of his close friends die.

However, the 36-year-old announced his comeback on his social media handles on Monday, revealing he will face the Albanian Kristian Prenga.

“Back active. July 25th. Live on DAZN,” Joshua wrote.

In further quotes on Skysports.com, Joshua said: “It’s no secret I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring and today is the next step on that journey. I’m delighted to have agreed a multi-fight deal starting with July 25 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

“I’m looking forward to competing and picking up where I left off. As I said: The landlord will collect his rent. That is certain.”
