World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a road accident on Monday (today) in Makun, Ogun State.
Eyewitnesses said the incident occurred along a busy section of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The vehicle conveying Joshua, a Lexus Jeep with registration number KRD 850 HN, reportedly collided with a stationary truck under circumstances that are still being investigated.
According to PUNCH Online, Joshua sustained minor injuries in the accident. However, two people were confirmed dead at the scene.

Following reports of the crash, fans took to social media to express concern for the boxer and to offer condolences to the families of the deceased. Local authorities have commenced investigations to determine the cause of the collision.
