Victor Osimhen made a bold statement after finding the net in Galatasaray’s 3-0 derby win over Fenerbahçe, insisting on his ability to deliver against any opponent in the Turkish Super Lig.

‎The striker spoke after the clash at RAMS Park, where his first-half goal helped settle a tense encounter and push Galatasaray closer to another league title.

‎The confidence in his words reflects his recent output. Osimhen has now scored 20 league goals this season and 39 since arriving in Turkey. He also marked his 50th Super Lig appearance with this derby strike, underlining his consistency in big moments.

‎He returned for this game after recovering from a fractured arm injury. Despite that setback, he stepped in and delivered immediately when it mattered most.

‎Galatasaray needed composure in a high-pressure contest. They entered the match four points ahead of their rivals and could not afford a slip.

‎Osimhen provided the breakthrough late in the first half. He met Mario Lemina’s pass and finished with precision. That goal shifted control firmly in Galatasaray’s favour and paved the way for a dominant result.

‎According to Fanatik, Osimhen began by appreciating the medical team and admitting he is not fully fit yet, while praising the team’s collective performance.

‎”I would like to thank Doctor Yener and the medical team. They did a very good job. It is impossible for me to return one hundred percent, but they prepared me very well psychologically. We fought well as a whole team. We disappointed our fans in the cup. I am proud of my team’s game, I am happy with the victory.”

‎He then expressed confidence in his scoring ability and emphasized the team’s focus on winning the league.

‎”Like in every derby… You know, I can score against any team. This is my job. I do this job well. We have to congratulate the team, we showed how ready we are. We are one step closer to our championship goal. Samsunspor is a quality opponent. We will want to win every match from now on. We will care about every opponent to end the season well, we will want to win every match. Samsunspor is a difficult opponent, but we will do our best.”

‎Finally, he addressed criticism, focused on his performance, and declared his commitment to the club.

‎”Personally, I don’t look at the internet much. When I came to the facility, someone from the club (objection about the protective equipment he used) mentioned this. I don’t understand these people. They will compete against the best team in the league, but they complain about it. I scored my goal, I did my job, I did my best. That’s what was important to me. I’ve said it many times, I won’t get tired of saying it, I’ll say it again and again; I love Galatasaray with everything. I will always protect this crest as long as there is an opportunity. I say this from my heart.”

‎Galatasaray now move forward with momentum in the title race. The focus shifts to upcoming fixtures, including a test against Samsunspor.

‎Osimhen’s form and mindset remain central. His goal output and strong mentality continue to define Galatasaray’s push for another league crown.
