Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman is on the list of Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur, with the North London club exploring a late move to strengthen their attacking options before the transfer window closes, according to Matt Law, Bold Sports reports.
Lookman’s situation remains one of the most fascinating stories of the summer following his failed move to Inter Milan as Atalanta have remained firm in their stance, refusing to lower their €50m valuation of the 27-year-old.
In an attempt to force the move, Lookman took drastic steps — deleting Atalanta-related content on his Instagram page, submitting a transfer request, and even refusing to train with the team for weeks. However, despite his efforts, he still remains an Atalanta player for now.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have endured their own struggles in securing attacking reinforcements for new head coach Thomas Frank. The club made an initial push for Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White, but the 25-year-old eventually signed a contract extension with his current side.
Spurs then turned their attention to Eberechi Eze, only for the former Crystal Palace midfielder to be snapped up by rivals Arsenal in a dramatic twist. The frustration continued when Manchester City rejected their €70m bid for Brazilian winger Savinho, insisting the youngster remains untouchable due to his immense potential.
In another surprise, Tottenham submitted a €70m offer for highly-rated Como wonderkid Nico Paz. However, the Argentine talent decided to remain in Italy, with hopes of sealing a future return to his former club, Real Madrid.
The North Londoners have now shifted their focus to RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons, though the Dutch forward reportedly prefers a move to Chelsea. Tottenham are also monitoring Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche, but the French youngster has attracted interest from several other European giants.
With the transfer window fast approaching its deadline, a potential deal for Lookman could represent the most realistic and beneficial move for both sides. The Nigerian international would finally secure his desired switch to the Premier League, while Thomas Frank would land a versatile attacker capable of improving Spurs’ attack and helping the club meet its objectives this season.
