Precious Achiuwa delivered a dominant all-round performance, recording 28 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 123–115 victory over his former side, the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena, Bold Sports reports.
Coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak, the Kings were desperate for a response – and Achiuwa rose to the occasion with a Most Valuable Player–level display to secure the team’s 20th win of a difficult campaign.
The Nigerian forward logged a game-high 38 minutes and produced a joint game-high 28 points on an efficient 12-of-19 shooting. He also grabbed a game-high 19 rebounds, alongside one assist and a block, finishing with an efficiency rating of 22.

DeMar DeRozan matched Achiuwa’s scoring output with 28 points and added four assists, while Malik Monk contributed 18 points, five assists, and three rebounds. Devin Carter chipped in with 13 points, five rebounds, and three assists, and Daeqwon Plowden added 11 points to round off a strong team performance.
Despite the loss, the Raptors had six players in double figures. Collin Murray-Boyles and RJ Barrett led the scoring with 20 points apiece, while Jakob Poeltl posted 18 points. Sandro Mamukelashvili added 17, Jamal Shead scored 16, and Scottie Barnes finished with 14 points.
Achiuwa’s resurgence this season has been remarkable. After being waived by the Miami Heat before the campaign, he has revitalized his career in California, emerging as a regular starter and averaging 9.9 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
He also etched his name into franchise history, becoming the first Kings player since DeMarcus Cousins in the 1996–97 season to record at least 15 points and 15 rebounds in a single half.
