Italian giants AC Milan are set to pocket a significant €24 million windfall if Premier League side Fulham activate their option to sign Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze on a permanent deal, according to reports.

Chukwueze joined the Cottagers on a season-long loan from Milan last summer and has impressed despite largely featuring from the bench. The Nigerian winger has recorded three goals and four assists in 12 appearances for the London club.

Fulham retain the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season but would need to pay a hefty €24m fee to secure Chukwueze’s services.

Milan are targeting a total return of over €70m from players currently out on loan as they look to reshape their squad. The Rossoneri have already confirmed that full-back Alex Jimenez will join Premier League side AFC Bournemouth on a permanent transfer for €19.5m, with a further €5m in performance-related bonuses, following his loan spell during the 2025/26 season.

Chukwueze remains one of several players Milan are prepared to offload. Others include Álvaro Morata, currently on loan at Como, and Lorenzo Colombo, who has impressed at Genoa with six goals in 24 appearances and could command a fee of around €10m.

Meanwhile, reports from Italy claim Milan have agreed terms with Bologna for the permanent transfer of Tommaso Pobega in a deal worth approximately €7m.

Filippo Terracciano is also expected to join Cremonese on a permanent transfer valued at €3.5m, provided the club avoids relegation to Serie B at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
