Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad have agreed a €33 million deal with Ligue 1 club AS Monaco for the transfer of 19-year-old Nigerian striker George Ilenikhena, Bold Sports reports.
According to French journalist Fabrice Hawkins, both clubs have settled on a €33m fee, with Al Ittihad and the player currently in negotiations over personal terms.

Ilenikhena is expected to arrive as a potential replacement for Karim Benzema, who has reportedly refused to play for the club amid an ongoing contract dispute. The former Real Madrid striker is said to have rejected an extension offer that included no fixed base salary and was largely dependent on image rights.
The Amiens academy product joined Monaco from Royal Antwerp ahead of the 2023/24 season for €18.7m and has since scored 10 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions for the Principality club.
Aside from Al Ittihad, several European clubs had also shown interest in the Nigerian forward, including Bundesliga sides Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart, as well as Ligue 1 outfit LOSC Lille.
