D’Tigers forward Precious Achiuwa delivered an impressive performance as the Sacramento Kings stunned the Houston Rockets 111–98, snapping a seven-game losing streak and recording their first win of 2026.

Achiuwa was named in the starting five alongside DeMar DeRozan, Maxime Raynaud, Zach LaVine, and star guard Russell Westbrook. The Kings produced a dominant fourth-quarter display, outscoring the Rockets 33–22 to seal a 13-point victory.

All five Kings starters finished in double figures, with DeRozan leading the way on 22 points. LaVine added 18 points, Westbrook posted a double-double of 15 points and 10 assists, while Malik Monk chipped in with 15 points off the bench.

Raynaud narrowly missed a double-double, recording 12 points and 11 rebounds, while Achiuwa contributed 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a game-high three steals.

For the Rockets, Amen Thompson recorded a game-high 31 points and 13 rebounds, but his effort was not enough to prevent defeat. Kevin Durant added 23 points, while Alperen Şengün finished with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Nigerian international Josh Okogie featured for nine minutes, registering one rebound. The loss was the Rockets’ third consecutive defeat, and Ime Udoka’s side will look to end the skid when they host the Chicago Bulls at the Toyota Center on Tuesday night.
