Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has added another accolade to her growing list of honours after winning the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Save of the Month award for November, Bold Sports reports.
The Brighton and Hove Albion shot-stopper earned the recognition for a breathtaking, acrobatic save against Liverpool, a moment that proved crucial in her team’s eventual 1–1 draw at the St Helens Stadium.
Nnadozie showed elite athleticism to tip Fuka Nagano’s powerful long-range effort onto the crossbar, denying what looked certain to be Liverpool’s second goal of the afternoon. The save kept Brighton in the contest before they struck late to rescue a point after Beata Olsson had earlier given Liverpool the lead.
The Nigerian international beat off competition from Sabrina D’Angelo, Faye Kirby, and Ayaka Yamashita to claim the award, her first in the WSL after narrowly losing out to Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar in October.
Since arriving at Brighton following her departure from Paris FC, the 24-year-old has quickly become one of the standout performers in the league. She has already recorded two clean sheets and delivered several important saves that have helped Brighton who sit seventh place with 11 points.

Despite Brighton conceding 10 goals this season, Nnadozie ranks second in save percentage across the league (78.7%), trailing only Chelsea’s Hannah Hampton (86.2%).
Nnadozie will now look to maintain her impressive form when Dario Vidosic’s side travel to face London City Lionesses on Sunday, December 7.
