Jordan Nwora continued his impressive form for Serbian powerhouse Crvena Zvezda, scoring a game-high 24 points to propel his team to an 88–79 victory over Zalgiris Kaunas in their EuroLeague Matchday 4 encounter.

The win marked Crvena Zvezda’s second consecutive victory of the season, following their triumph over Turkish side Fenerbahçe. After losing their opening two games to Olimpia Milano and Bayern Munich, the Serbian giants appear to have finally found their rhythm in Europe’s elite competition.

The former NBA champion with the Milwaukee Bucks delivered a complete performance — excelling on both ends of the floor. Known primarily for his offensive prowess, Nwora impressed defensively as well, registering seven rebounds, five steals, three assists, and two blocks to go with his 24 points.

Fourteen of those points came in the decisive fourth quarter, where the D’Tigers forward spearheaded a comeback that overturned Zvezda’s third-quarter deficit and sealed the win.

Donatas Motiejūnas and Chima Moneke contributed 13 points each, Semi Ojeleye added 10, while Ebuka Izundu chipped in with 9 points. For Zalgiris, Arnas Butkevičius and Maodo Lo led the scoring with 14 points apiece.

After the game, club legend and current head coach Sasa Obradovic hailed Nwora’s performance, emphasizing his leadership and impact in a team still battling injury setbacks.

“It’s a bit messy at the moment with all the injuries we’ve had, so we are relying on individual quality – and today, Nwora was amazing,” Obradovic said. “It’s always going to be a different player who steps up, but what matters most is the team spirit.”

Nwora has been in red-hot form since the start of the season, leading Crvena Zvezda in scoring in three of their five EuroLeague games. He posted 19 points in their opening loss to Milano, 27 points in another defeat to Bayern Munich, and again topped the scoring chart against Zalgiris.

He also tallied 14 points in the ABA League clash with Zadar, finishing just one point behind co-leaders Semi Ojeleye and Ebuka Izundu.
