Former NBA player and D’Tigers standout, Al-Farouq Aminu, has delivered a powerful message to young athletes at the opening of the Good Works Basketball Camp, urging them to embrace the moment and make the most of the opportunity.
Speaking at the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan where the camp kicked off, Aminu encouraged the players to give their all, stay teachable, and let their passion for the game shine.
“This is your chance to showcase your full potential. Be disciplined, be eager to learn, and most importantly—enjoy the process,” he said.
The camp, organised under the Al-Farouq Aminu Good Works initiative, aims to groom the next generation of basketball talent while instilling values such as teamwork, focus, and personal development.
