UFC: Sodiq Yusuff beats opponent in 30 seconds

Sodiq Yusuff recorded the fastest win in the UFC featherweight division with a 30 seconds submission win over Don Shainis at UFC Vegas 61 on Sunday as he pushes for a top ranking fight.

The Nigerian-born mixed martial artist ranked No.12 in the division took the fight on short after his initial fight against Giga Chikadze originally scheduled for September 18 was cancelled.

Yusuff was favourite for the win against the unseeded Shainis but no one thought it would come that easy. The Nigerian charged at Shainis holding on to his neck and landing knee shots on the American before taking him down and submitting him in just 30 seconds of the fight.
