Terem Moffi scored his 11th league goal of the season which help kept OGC Nice’s UEFA Champions League hopes alive in a 2-2 draw on the road against 10-man Olympique Marseille in a French Ligue 1 encounter on Wednesday.
Terem Moffi opened the scoring for Nice in the 13th minute, however, Marseille clawed their way back, despite playing with a one-man disadvantage for most of the game.

Nice were left frustrated by the result, particularly considering the red card shown to Faris Moumbagna on the stroke of halftime. A win would have significantly boosted their chances of securing a Champions League spot.
Head coach, Francesco Farioli, said the result was fair. “Considering the progress of the match, it’s a good point. Playing against such a strong team, in this stadium, when you give them a little ground, they have the quality and the individuality to put you in difficulty,” the Italian manager said after the game.
“In the end, with everything that happened, it’s a good point. I’m sorry because tonight with all the commitment the boys put in, we might have deserved a little something extra.”
Moffi’s impressive form continues. His 11 goals put him fifth in the league’s top scorers list, making it his second consecutive season reaching double figures in Ligue 1.
This is the third time in four seasons that he’s achieved this feat in the French top flight. Currently, Nice’s top scorer, Moffi is followed by Evann Guessand on five goals.
