Super Eagles midfielder Tochukwu Nnadi will miss Marseille’s Ligue 1 clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday after failing to recover from a knee injury, Bold Sports reports.
Marseille confirmed the midfielder’s absence ahead of the Classique at the Vélodrome. Nnadi has already missed the club’s last two league matches against Paris FC and Rennes. He also missed Nigeria’s recent international fixtures.
Nnadi picked up the knee problem during Marseille’s 2-0 defeat to Monaco. The Nigerian midfielder left the game after suffering a knee injury. He then began a conservative recovery programme instead of undergoing surgery.
The injury has kept Nnadi out since the Monaco defeat. He did not feature against Paris FC or Rennes. He also missed Nigeria’s squad for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.
Nnadi had featured in Marseille’s opening weeks of the season before the injury. His 2026 Ligue 1 match log shows two appearances.

His absence leaves Bruno Genesio without another midfield option. Geoffrey Kondogbia will also miss the PSG fixture after suffering his own injury.
Genesio addressed the situation during his press conference on Saturday.
”Only Nnadi and Kondogbia will be unavailable ,” the Marseille coach told the media.
The confirmation means Marseille will face PSG without both midfielders. The two players also missed the club’s final training session before the Classique.
Marseille will host PSG on Sunday, September 20. The match is the fifth round of the 2026/27 Ligue 1 season. For Nnadi, the immediate focus now shifts back to rehabilitation.
