Less than 24 hours after celebrating her third consecutive CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award, Super Falcons star Chiamaka Nnadozie has been shortlisted for yet another honour, the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Save of the Month for November.

The 24-year-old, who has been one of Brighton & Hove Albion’s standout performers this season, earned her nomination for a stunning flying save against Liverpool.

Nnadozie reacted sharply to tip Fuka Nagano’s long-range strike to the bar, a moment that proved decisive as Brighton later snatched a late equaliser to secure a 1–1 draw at the St Helens Stadium. Beata Olsson had given Liverpool an early lead before Brighton hit back in the closing stages.

This is the second straight month Nnadozie has been recognised for the award. She was also nominated in October, though she narrowly missed out to Arsenal’s Daphne van Domselaar, who won for a superb stop against Brighton.

The Nigerian international will face stiff competition for November’s accolade. Also on the shortlist are Sabrina D’Angelo for her athletic save against London City Lionesses, Faye Kirby for a remarkable double stop with her legs against Brighton, and Ayaka Yamashita for her excellent effort against Everton.
