Atalanta have announced the dismissal of manager Ivan Jurić and his entire backroom staff following a poor run of results in Serie A.
The club confirmed the decision on Monday afternoon, ending days of speculation surrounding the Croatian’s future in Bergamo.
“Atalanta BC announces that it has today relieved Ivan Jurić of his duties as head coach of the First Team, along with his staff consisting of Matteo Paro, Miguel Veloso, Paolo Barbero, Stjepan Ostojić, and Michele Orecchio,” the club said in a statement on its website.
“The Club thanks Ivan Jurić and his entire staff for their dedication and wishes them all the best for the future.”

Jurić joined Atalanta in the summer following the departure of long-serving manager Gian Piero Gasperini, who left for AS Roma after nine successful years at the club.
However, his tenure in Bergamo failed to take off, with Atalanta enduring a seven-match winless streak that culminated in a 3-0 home defeat to Sassuolo on Sunday. Their last league victory came on September 21, when they beat Torino 3-0.
The club is expected to announce a replacement soon, with reports linking former Italian midfielder Raffaele Palladino, most recently in charge of Fiorentina, as the leading candidate to take over.
