Nigeria’s Falconets continued their dominant start to the WAFU B U20 Girls’ Cup with a convincing 3–0 win over hosts Benin Republic at the Omnisport Stadium in Adjohoun on Sunday, Bold Sports reports.

Having opened their campaign with a 3–1 victory over defending champions Ghana, the Falconets maintained their perfect record in the tournament with another commanding performance.

Kareem Ramotalahi opened the scoring for Nigeria just 15 minutes into the game, finishing off a well-worked move with a brilliant strike that left the Benin goalkeeper with no chance.

Kareem doubled her tally in the 58th minute after latching onto a clever pass, skillfully dribbling past a defender and firing a powerful effort into the net to make it 2–0.

The Falconets sealed the win late on when Precious Oscar reacted quickest to a loose ball inside the box, smashing home from close range to complete a comfortable 3–0 victory for Moses Aduku’s side.

The result means Nigeria have now won both of their matches in the competition and top the standings heading into their next fixture against Ghana on Tuesday, November 11.
