Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has arrived in Spain as Brighton steps up preparations for their final round of preseason fixtures ahead of the new campaign.

Nnadozie joined the Women’s Super League side this summer after five successful seasons with French Division 1 Féminine outfit Paris FC.

The Nigeria international linked up with her new teammates last week, fresh from helping the Super Falcons clinch their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco last month.

Brighton are set to face Spanish sides Alhama CF on Wednesday and Levante on Saturday as part of their preseason tour. She already featured for the Seagulls over the weekend, keeping goal in a closed-door 5–0 victory against Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old and her Brighton teammates will kick off their WSL campaign at home to Aston Villa on September 7.

Nnadozie, the reigning Women’s African Goalkeeper of the Year, led Paris FC to the 2024/25 Coupe de France Féminine title before making the switch to England. She has also been nominated for the 2025 Ballon d’Or Women’s Yacine Trophy.
