Victor Osimhen fires Galatasaray to fourth straight Super Lig titleVictor Osimhen remains at the centre of transfer discussions after Galatasaray sealed a fourth straight Turkish Süper Lig title. The club’s hierarchy has now addressed growing reports linking the Nigerian striker with a possible summer exit from Istanbul.

‎Speaking after Galatasaray’s title celebrations, club vice president Abdullah Kavukcu reacted to claims that the Turkish champions could demand as much as €150 million for Osimhen if a formal offer arrives.

‎The Super Eagles forward has enjoyed another productive campaign. Osimhen has scored 22 goals and provided eight assists in all competition this season. He also recently struck twice in Galatasaray’s 4-2 victory over Antalyaspor, a result that confirmed the club’s latest league crown.

‎Transfer rumours surrounding Osimhen have intensified again ahead of the summer window. Several European heavyweights continue to monitor the former Napoli striker following his strong performances in Turkey.

‎Kavukcu, however, insisted no concrete negotiations have taken place regarding the striker’s future.

‎“Would I sell Osimhen for €150 million? Speaking as Abdullah Kavukcu, I would not sell him, but the final decision belongs to our President and the Board of Directors.”

The Galatasaray executive also stated that the club has not engaged in transfer discussions with interested teams.

‎“Currently, Osimhen is with us. We have not held any meetings—neither regarding a transfer nor an offer. We haven’t even looked at them. Naturally, everyone is keeping Osimhen under close observation anyway.”

‎Osimhen attracted major interest before leaving SSC Napoli in 2024. Premier League clubs reportedly explored deals for the Nigerian striker, while Saudi Arabian sides also attempted to sign him before he moved to Galatasaray.
‎The Turkish champions later completed a permanent €75 million transfer.

‎Despite constant speculation, Galatasaray remain determined to keep one of their key attacking players as they prepare for another Champions League campaign next season.

‎Osimhen still has three years remaining on his current contract, which gives the Istanbul club strong control over his future heading into the transfer market.
